And just like that, it’s 2014 – Happy New Year y’all!
By the grace of God, we have entered into the new year. I guess you would have noticed that I have gone missing for awhile. Well, it was a whirlwind trip back to Singapore…
…and then to Taiwan with my family!
In bustling Asian cities like Singapore and Taipei, there was hardly any time to rest! As such, it was a good solid 11 days of exploring around, spending time with loved ones and achieving some ‘foodie milestones’, as I would call it!
So yes, stay tuned for posts on the hottest cafes in Singapore (cafes have been springing up in this little island and I must say that they do give Melbourne a good run!), the best of the local food in Singapore, and my eating around Taiwan, another foodie haven.
And to end of the post, I would like to leave some Bible verses:
10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
11 Who knoweth the power of Thine anger? even according to Thy fear, so is Thy wrath.
12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
– Psalm 90
We may have crossed into 2014, but one day, our time on this earth will be up. So while we still have life on this earth, may we look to the One Living and True God, the One who sent Jesus Christ to die for our sins!
Thank God for another year of life! And if you believe in Christ, may His grace carry us through this year, through the highs and lows of life 🙂
